OUT OF OFFICE RUNNING DEPARTMENT TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY FILM
The Out of Office Running Department is the Swoosh-born run club getting offline and onto the streets of Portland. I pitched the concept of making a film about them and their impact on Portland, which lined up with their two year anniversary. Working in lockstep with Nightswim for the pre-production, I led concept ideation, production, and execution of the edit. I delivered this film next day, and it is an example of what can be accomplished with an accelerated timeline. All credit to my filmmaking friends who came together to help capture it alongside me: Justin Volley, Sean Molloy, Grahm Doughty, and Jacob Salzberg. We could not have done this without them on shoot day.
Nike Running 2026 FILMS
I worked with Nightswim to lead the pre-production, production, and ultimately edit two Nike Running race films in spring of 2026. Both edits had a few day turnaround, and we captured and delivered in back to back weeks. Our capture team for the 4 Miler in Columbus included me, Max Rodriguez, and Justin Volley, and for Longhorn Run, me, Mac Shoop, and Blake Rabe. For both events I focused on the ultra wide, speedy handheld shots.
